Announcement about an Announcement - New Expansion

New Leaks for Hearthstone got published. On the one hand, we got information’s about the new Expansion, but also about an upcoming Battlegrounds Update. The leaks were first seen on iyingdi.

Leak Translation
  • The new expansion is about Scholomance – launch on 8/4 PT (8/5 is for CN Time)
  • Name most likely: Academy of Scholomance
  • Naxx Card Back will be back for purchase with 500 gold or money
  • Deluxe Bundle:
    • 1 Random Golden Legendary (assumed)
    • 1 Kel’Thuzad Card Back
    • 1 Kel’Thuzad Mage Hero
    • Battlegrounds Perks
    • 4 Arena Tickets
    • 80 Scholomance Academy Card Packs
    • 5 Golden Scholomance Academy Card Packs

Hearthstone Battlegrounds

The website patch.land posted the Patchnotes for July 14. According to them it not only includes Constructed changes like mentioned in the official post, but also some for Hearthstone Battlegrounds

Players with Battlegrounds Perks will have early access Tess Greymane before the hero is formally released on July 28.
