Renathal Libram Paladin #459 Legend - Daniel
Proof Daniel

E.T.C.’s Band:
# 1x (5) Platebreaker
# 1x (3) Smothering Starfish
# 1x (3) Tight-Lipped Witness

33-14 (70%) plus a few unrecorded wins with my homebrew deck, which started out using Bolvar’s XL Sea Shanty Libram Paladin as a base and morphed into this. 13-0 against all Priests, mostly Shadow Priest but also a couple Starship Priests. Shadow Priest cannot do enough damage to get through the clear and lifesteal as long as you don’t draw really badly; prioritize Prismatic Beam and Eredar Brute.

Overall goal of the deck is to get through the early game, draw through your deck quickly and get Divinity online ASAP, which you can do relatively consistently by Turn 5/6. You can then push for a win either through the pressure of sheer stats and/or Arcane Golem combined with Lynessa, Liadrin or an infinite Sanc’Azel.

I had also used Chillblade over Golem and Leeroy over Platebreaker, it doesn’t make a whole lot of difference but Leeroy gives you an extra Charge over breaking armor and Golem gives you a strong 10 mana combo with Liadrin in exchange for being basically unusable early on other than perhaps killing a buffed Voidtouched Attendant, but I don’t think I ever played my Chillblade early so the only other benefit is the buffed lifesteal. Witness gets you through Hostage Mage and Starfish gets you through Velen and some other situations.
