[Theorycraft] Mecha’thun Warlock – Alphacord
Alphacord Discord: Cards that say “win the game” are often very good if their cost is reasonable. What’s the cost to Mecha’thun? Draw your entire deck, that’s basically it. Thanks to Cataclysm, Warlock doesn’t need to play all the cards in its hand nor make sure it’s board is clear when Mecha’thun goes off, unlike other classes’ Mecha’thun decks.Cataclysm luckily does the work for us. Bloodbloom helps cheat it out in one of two ways; either with the Emperor Thaurissan version which reduces the cost of Bloodbloom and Mecha’thun to one and nine mana respectively, or the Dollmaster Dorian version which plays Plot Twist to put a 1/1 version of Mecha’thun into play and then plays Bloodbloom with two of the three remaining mana. This means The Soularium can be used to draw the last three cards and still have enough mana for the combo. The rest of the deck is card draw and strong survival tools like Plague of Flames and Defile.
