Nozdormu Exploit with Plot Twist – Skip your opponents turn
Ben Brode, most of you will remember him answered the question, “Is there one card you remember to be particularly difficult for the team?” in 2015 with “Nozdormu”.
2016 he explained; it’s a cause of possible bugs with the cards.
Now, years after the first exploits and bugfixes, players found a new way to exploit the card:
If you have Nozdormu on the board and wait till the end of your rope to play Plot Twist, the animation can skip your opponents’ turn (the bigger the hand size or other animations like the one from Aranasi Broodmother, the likelier it is). If played “correctly,” there is nothing they can do about it until Blizzard fixes this exploit.
I did still win the game, but this still being in the game is honestly just unacceptable. Imagine this sort of thing happening during the next masters tour, it isn’t even that unlikely. Blizzard needs to fix this all together or just hall of fame nozdormu.— Jake Christoforo (@EggowaffleHS) May 26, 2020
We hope that Blizzard will act fast and fix it.
Please note that using an exploit is not allowed and can result in a ban from the game.
Blizzard is aware of the issue and is working on a “longer-term fix for Nozdormu related bugs”
We are aware of instances where playing Norzdormu can skip your opponent's turn. This is being actively investigated as a bug. We are working on a longer-term fix for Nozdormu related bugs, but in the meantime please continue reporting these issues as they crop up.— Hearthstone (@PlayHearthstone) May 27, 2020
